Anker Soundcore Space A40 — Advanced Review
The default recommendation for anyone wanting real noise cancellation without spending flagship money.
The verdict
Independent testing labs and a huge pool of owner reviews have made the Space A40 the perennial budget-ANC benchmark, repeatedly cited as offering performance that punches far above its price. Measurements credit it with surprisingly effective noise cancellation and a default sound that, with the app's customizable EQ, can be tuned close to far pricier rivals. Reviewers also highlight the genuinely long battery life and reliable multipoint connection as standout value features. With a very large owner-review pool converging on the same conclusion, the 4.5 reflects remarkable consistency for the money.

Price and value
At about $79 (frequently $49-59 on sale) it's a bargain — arguably the best value in true-wireless ANC and a repeat budget pick at the independent testing labs.
How it compares
It's the budget pick, delivering LDAC, multipoint, and strong ANC that undercut the Bose Ultra and Sony XM5 by well over $200, though those flagships remain clearly better on isolation and mic quality.
The bottom line
The default recommendation for anyone wanting real noise cancellation without spending flagship money.
How this review works
This isn't one editor's opinion. MyBase's Advanced Review is our own AI-synthesized editorial assessment: it draws on the published verdicts of the industry's most trusted independent expert reviewers and testing publications, alongside large pools of verified-owner reviews, and weighs them together into a single clear verdict. Expert testing is weighed alongside real-world owner consensus, so the rating reflects how a product actually performs — not how it's marketed.
