Every feature of a MyBase page, and the switch to turn each one off
MyBase is a link-in-bio platform for creators: one page at mybase.page/yourname, as simple or as advanced as you want it. Every section is a switch, and a section that is off is not rendered, so the same Creator Profile can be a plain list of links or a full page of products, videos, music, downloads, email capture and booking. MyBase takes 0% commission and 0% platform fees on every plan.
As simple or as advanced as you want it
- A page of links is a first-class MyBase page, not a stripped-down one: paste a link, give it a name, and it is live at mybase.page/yourname with nothing else on the page.
- Every section is a switch. Switch one off and it is not rendered at all, so there is nothing to hide, collapse or tidy away — a links-only page shows links and nothing else.
- Nothing is mandatory. Setup asks two questions, your name and your handle, and every other step has a Skip button.
- The same page can go as far as you want it to: products with your own affiliate links, playable videos and music, a booking button, email capture, downloads, collections, a countdown, a GitHub graph, all on a free grid you drag into any order.
- It is easy to use because every change is one gesture: paste a link to add it, drag a section to move it, press a colour to recolour the page, and the page updates as you do it.
How simple can it be
Your name, your photo and a list of links, in one of four links-rail styles. Every other section is off, so none of it is rendered: no shelves, no boxes, no placeholders. Setup is two answers — a display name and a handle — and the page is live at mybase.page/yourname. It stays that simple for as long as you leave it.
How far can it go
The same page with everything switched on: links with icons, groups and showcase tiles; playable videos and music from eight platforms; a live Instagram grid; a booking button for your own Calendly or Cal.com; native email capture and digital downloads; product shelves on three tiers with your own affiliate links; collections; a wardrobe; a wishlist; a countdown; a GitHub contribution graph; text notes in the gaps between sections. Each section sits on a free grid at full, half or quarter width, in any order, with its own heading, colour and height, under one of 19 masthead shells, 8 page styles, 282 font pairings and any background you like. Every one of those is still a switch.
What a Creator Profile can hold
Grouped the way a reader looks for them. Each group opens with the answer, then lists every feature with the plan it is on and whether it is a switch.
Links
A MyBase page holds your links in a links rail: paste a URL, name it, and it is on the page. Links can carry icons, headings, widths, showcase tiles and, on Pro, their own button styles, a tip button and custom links — your own mybase.page/s/… address for any page on MyBase.
- Links rail (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — The links section. Each link has a label, a URL, a brand glyph in its own colour (or a custom icon image on Pro), an optional heading, its own width, an expandable showcase and a creator note. The rail is hidden from visitors while it is empty.
- Four links-rail styles (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — Slim (the default), Spotlight (links-first: full-width buttons, one per row, for a page that is mostly links), Banner (a cover band) and Minimal (hairlines only).
- Link headings and drag reorder (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — Consecutive links with the same heading form a group. Links are dragged by a handle; dropping one into another group adopts that group’s heading, and deleting a link has Undo.
- Link width grid (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — Each link takes one to six columns of a responsive grid — two columns on a phone, four on a tablet, six on a desktop — with a no-holes rule so the rail never leaves a gap.
- Link showcase tiles (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — Up to six pasted URLs from the embed platforms render as playable tiles under a single link. A URL that cannot be resolved is dropped rather than shown as an empty box.
- Links beside the masthead (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — A switch that places the links rail beside the header card on wide screens instead of below it.
- Social icons row (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — A row of social icons for any of 31 platforms under your name, in any order, in a classic monochrome set or the platforms’ real logos, tinted the brand colour or any colour you choose.
- Custom link styling (Pro; Optional — off means not rendered) — Per-link button backgrounds: 16 presets (solids, gradients and CSS patterns) or any solid colour, any gradient, or your own image, with the text colour derived so the label stays legible. Uploaded images are checked by the moderation bot.
- Tip button (Pro; Optional — off means not rendered) — A Send a tip link in the links rail, with a label of up to 24 characters, pointing at your own Ko-fi, Buy Me a Coffee, PayPal.me or Stripe payment link. It is off until you switch it on, and the tip goes to the destination you chose.
- Custom links (Pro; Optional — off means not rendered) — Your own mybase.page/s/your-slug address (3 to 32 characters) that forwards to any page on MyBase — your Creator Profile, a collection, a product — each with its own click count. It points only at pages on MyBase, never at an outside website. The target is checked when you create the link and re-checked every time the panel opens, so a link whose destination was renamed or deleted is flagged instead of silently failing.
Sections
A Creator Profile has 15 sections in one layout, 13 of them public. Every one is a switch: a section you turn off in Arrange sections is not rendered, and the countdown, booking, GitHub, videos, collections and downloads sections render nothing until they hold content. Email capture and downloads ship off and wait for you to switch them on.
- Every section is a switch (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — Fifteen sections live in one layout (13 public, two owner-only). A section switched off in Arrange sections is not rendered at all. Six of them — countdown, booking, GitHub, videos, collections and downloads — also render nothing until they hold content, so a fresh page never shows an empty box.
- Countdown (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — A tile counting down to a real date, with an optional label. It renders nothing until a date is set, says the thing has happened once the date passes, and holds still under reduced-motion settings.
- Booking with Calendly or Cal.com (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — Your own scheduler as a button on the page. The provider loads in a frame only when a visitor taps it, and the section renders nothing until the URL resolves to a real Calendly or Cal.com page.
- GitHub contribution graph (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — A developer’s contribution graph, fetched through MyBase’s own proxy, drawn in your accent colour and stamped with the date it was fetched. It renders nothing until a GitHub handle is set.
- Videos and content shelf (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — Paste links from eight platforms and they become playable tiles — the player loads only when a visitor presses play. Tiles are resized on a 12-column grid, a lightbox opens tiles too small to hold a player, and the shelf heading adapts to what is on it (Videos, Listen, Posts, Highlights).
- Collections (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — Named, covered groups of your picks, built in the Collections studio and published at mybase.page/yourname/c/your-slug. The section renders nothing until a collection is public.
- Product shelves on three tiers (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — Products sit on Daily Essentials, Luxury Picks and New Discoveries shelves, each with its own View all page. A product carries your own affiliate link and a note in your own words.
- Wishlist (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — A public shelf of products you have your eye on. It is on by default and stays quiet on an untouched page until you add something.
- Liked products (owner only) (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — A shelf of the products you have liked, filled from your own device. It is only ever shown to you, never to visitors.
- Wardrobe (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — Clothing pieces in eight categories, each with a photo, brand, note and product link, plus a personal style statement. The grid shows six with a Show all expander, and photos wait for approval before they go public.
- Email capture (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — A native subscribe form on the page. It ships off; you switch it on. Subscribers stay on your profile and export as a CSV whenever you like. MyBase sends no campaigns on your behalf.
- Digital downloads (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — Sell or give away files. A free file is claimed behind an email gate that also feeds your subscriber list. A paid file goes through Stripe hosted checkout in usd, eur, gbp, nok, sek or dkk with a 0% platform fee; the payment lands in MyBase’s own Stripe account and is passed on to you, since MyBase has no Stripe Connect. The section ships off and renders nothing until a file is published.
- Blocks: social widgets and text notes (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — Blocks you place anywhere in the layout: a pasted platform link becomes a widget card, and a plain-text note (a 40-character title, 600 characters of text) sits in the gaps between sections. A picture you upload has a place of its own — your profile photo, your cover banner or, on Pro, your page background, among others — and a video in a section is a pasted link, such as YouTube or Vimeo.
- Social widgets in three tiers (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — A link from YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, Spotify, SoundCloud, X or Pinterest, or an Instagram profile, becomes a live widget — a player, a post or a grid of latest posts, loaded when a visitor presses it or once they have allowed embedded feeds. Links to 31 known platforms get a fully branded card. Any other https link gets a card wearing that site’s own icon, so no paste is refused.
- Duplicate, remove and restore sections (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — Any section can be duplicated as a block with its own width, note and colours, removed from the page, and restored later with every setting intact.
- Hide a section from its toolbar (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — The close control on a section’s owner toolbar hides it in one tap. Bringing it back is one tap in Appearance, under Arrange sections.
- The Add button (Free; Part of every page) — One dialog to add anything: paste a video, music, TikTok or post link and the platform is detected as you type; add a product — Quick add one from The Vault, or add your own; or switch a section on — Collections, Downloads, Email capture, Links, Wardrobe, Wishlist, Countdown, Booking, GitHub — from chips that show its real on/off state.
- Profile strength meter (owner only) (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — A completion score with next steps — photo, bio, products, notes, share — shown only to you, and dismissable.
Layout
The layout is a grid, not a fixed column. Any section can be full, half or quarter width, dragged into any order, given its own height, heading, colour and header style — all on the free plan — under one of 19 masthead shells and two page bases.
- Drag sections into any order (Free; Part of every page) — Sections are dragged into any order on your own view of the page. Reorders glide into place and hold still when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Free grid: width, placement, height and packing (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — Any section can be full, half or quarter width on a four-column grid, placed at the start, centre or end of a row, and given its own height in 16-pixel steps up to 1,600 pixels. Sections pack together so nothing leaves dead space.
- Section tab bar (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — A jump bar listing the sections on the page. You can hide it.
- Section titles and the headline toolbar (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — Rename any section (40 characters) and style its headline per section: font pairing, one of four sizes, colour, bold and italic. The same toolbar styles your bio, username and sub text.
- Section notes in five styles (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — An Add text note under any section header, rendered in Classic, Whisper, Statement, Chip or Editorial style.
- Five section header styles (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — Classic, Compact, Simple, Minimal or Editorial treatment of every section’s header band.
- Per-section colours (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — Each section’s icon tile and header band can take one of five presets or any colour. Nothing is painted until you choose.
- Three collection header styles (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — Inline, Card or Hidden owner counts above the shelves. The affiliate disclosure stays visible in every style.
- 19 masthead shells (Free; Part of every page) — Grand, Compact, Minimal, Open, Billboard, Framed, Sleek, Spotlight, Portrait, Monument, Ribbon, Gallery, Stage, Petite, Ledger, Panorama, Reel, Cinema and Cover Story — each a different architecture for the header, from a photo that runs edge to edge across the whole screen to no cover at all.
- Six masthead content presets (Free; Part of every page) — How much the header shows: Full, Refined, Story, Minimal, Nameplate or Bare. Your name and badge always show.
- Two page bases (Free; Part of every page) — Card Base puts every element in its own card; Clean Base draws no boxes and separates things by spacing and type. Chosen at setup, changeable any time.
Appearance
Eight page styles, 21 accent colours plus a colour wheel, curated washes, flat colours, custom colours and gradients, 18 cover banners and button and card shapes are free. Pro adds 281 more font pairings, a 147-image background gallery, eight animated backgrounds, video backdrops, badge colour and an unbranded page.
- Eight page styles (Free; Part of every page) — Liquid Glass, Flat, Bauhaus, Neubrutalist, Neumorphic, Glassmorphism, Retro Futuristic and Cyberpunk, layered over your own choices.
- 21 accent colours and a colour wheel (Free; Part of every page) — House blue plus 20 named accents — Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Amethyst, Copper, Slate, Blossom, Rose Gold, Bronze, Pewter, Garnet, Lapis, Teal, Amber, Coral, Sage, Periwinkle, Espresso, Electric Pink, Cyber Blue — or any hex you type.
- 282 font pairings (Pro; Part of every page) — 42 curated display-and-body pairings plus 240 self-hosted font families, searchable with category chips (Serif, Sans Serif, Display, Handwriting, Monospace). The house Maison pairing is free; every other pairing is Pro.
- Page background: washes, flat colours, any colour, any gradient (Free; Part of every page) — Default (follows the visitor’s light or dark theme), eight curated washes (Champagne, Porcelain, Noir, Midnight, Blush, Sage, Espresso, Lavender), twelve one-tap flat papers and inks, any solid colour or any two-colour gradient. Text colour is derived from the background’s brightness so it stays readable.
- Image backgrounds: a 147-image gallery or your own (Pro; Optional — off means not rendered) — A gallery of 147 background images in ten themed drops, or your own uploaded image, with a dimming scrim and a blur control.
- Eight animated backgrounds (Pro; Optional — off means not rendered) — Liquid-gradient presets, from Aurum to Sunset Silk, that move slowly behind the page under the same dimming scrim.
- Video page backdrop and cover video (Pro; Optional — off means not rendered) — Upload a looping mp4, webm or mov of up to 12 MB as the page backdrop or the cover banner. It plays muted, pauses off screen, shows a still under reduced-motion or data-saver settings, and is reviewed by a person before visitors see it.
- Cover banner: 18 presets, your image, any colour or gradient (Free; Part of every page) — A masthead cover from 18 gradients (White, Aurora Gold, Noir, Ocean, Ember, Forest, Rosé, Violet, Mist, Deep Forest, Peacock, Silver Lining, Ink Pool, Rust & Bloom, Neon Dusk, Marble, Champagne Silk, Glacier), your own image, or a solid or angled gradient, with a darkening overlay from 0 to 80 and a blur from 0 to 16 pixels.
- Button shape and card shape (Free; Part of every page) — Link buttons: rounded, pill, square or a custom radius. Cards: rounded, soft, square or a custom radius. A page style never overrides your choice.
- Name, bio, photo and role line (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — A display name (50 characters), a bio (240), a profile photo, a 28-character role line under the name, and the same headline toolbar for the bio and username text.
- Verification badge colour (Pro; Optional — off means not rendered) — A verified creator can recolour their badge — gold, or any colour. The control only appears for creators MyBase has verified by hand, so buying Pro never buys a badge.
- Saved looks (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — Three slots to save a whole appearance and bring it back later.
- An unbranded page (Pro; Optional — off means not rendered) — Remove the MyBase bar — the only MyBase mark on your page — from the public view of your Creator Profile.
- Hide the Shop and Join buttons (Pro; Optional — off means not rendered) — While MyBase is invite-only, visitors who are not signed in see a Shop this profile button and a Join the waitlist button at the top of your page. Switch either one off.
- A finished look with no setup (Free; Part of every page) — A page that never picks a style, base, background or font renders in the house Liquid Glass look. There is no Coming soon shelf of styles to wait for.
- Light and dark, and your page keeps its own (Free; Part of every page) — The platform follows a light and dark toggle. A Creator Profile with a chosen background or page style is pinned to the scheme you designed it in, so it looks the same to every visitor.
- Reduced motion and data saver respected (Free; Part of every page) — Countdowns, video backdrops, section motion and smooth scrolling all honour a reduced-motion setting; video backdrops also stop on data saver or a slow connection.
Integrations and embeds
A MyBase page integrates 39 platforms. Eight of them play on the page — YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, Spotify, SoundCloud, X, Pinterest and an Instagram profile grid — two are booking providers (Calendly and Cal.com), one is a GitHub graph, 31 get a branded card and icon, and any other website gets a card with its own icon. Every embed is a facade: nothing loads until a visitor presses it — a widget also loads by itself once the visitor has allowed embedded feeds.
- Playable embeds from eight platforms (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — Paste a link from YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, Spotify (tracks, albums, playlists, artists, shows, episodes), SoundCloud, X, Pinterest or an Instagram profile and it becomes a card on the page. A musician’s album plays on the page; a video gets a lightbox. The player loads only when a visitor presses it, so no third-party script runs on page load.
- Live Instagram grid (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — An Instagram profile link becomes an auto-updating grid of that profile’s latest posts, loaded when a visitor presses it or has allowed embedded feeds. Single posts and reels are refused, because Instagram shows them blank to logged-out visitors.
- Branded cards for 31 platforms (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Threads, Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, Twitch, Discord, Telegram, Messenger, Reddit, Tumblr, Bluesky, Vimeo, Medium, Substack, Patreon, GitHub, Behance, Dribbble, WeChat, LINE, Gmail and Foursquare each get a card wearing the platform’s real mark.
- A card for any other website (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — Any other https link gets a card wearing that site’s own icon (with a monogram fallback), so a platform MyBase has never heard of still looks deliberate on your page.
- Calendly and Cal.com booking (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — Your own Calendly or Cal.com page as a booking button that opens the scheduler in place when a visitor taps it.
- GitHub, through MyBase’s own proxy (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — The contribution graph is fetched by a MyBase function and cached, so a visitor’s browser never talks to GitHub directly.
- Readable by search engines and answer engines (Free; Part of every page) — Every marketing page, legal page, tier page, review and blog post is written to a static HTML file at build time, and a Creator Profile, product, brand or collection URL is served a rendered document to crawlers, so what people say about you is read from real text, not an empty app shell.
Commerce and earnings
MyBase takes 0% commission and 0% platform fees on every plan. Your affiliate links stay yours and pay you directly; paid files and paid collections go through Stripe hosted checkout with no platform fee. Pro changes how the page looks, never what you earn.
- 0% commission and 0% platform fees, on every plan (Free; Part of every page) — The Free plan badge reads 0% fees on direct sales, always; the Pro badge reads 0% commission, keep 100%. Affiliate money moves between the buyer, the retailer and your own affiliate account without passing through MyBase, and the download and collection checkouts charge no platform fee.
- Your own affiliate link on every product you add yourself (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — Each product carries your affiliate URL, which wins over the plain product URL. A tap on Shop goes through one tracked redirect that counts the click and sends the visitor straight to the retailer — one hop, no chain. A product picked from The Vault carries no affiliate link: it links to the shop’s own page.
- Add a product from a link (Free; Part of every page) — Paste a product link and MyBase reads the page’s own product data to prefill the name, brand, price, currency, image and description — filling only empty boxes and never overwriting your note — then you pick a shelf, a category and your affiliate URL.
- A note in your own words on every product (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — One sentence on why you chose it, shown above the product. An import never overwrites it.
- Quick add from The Vault (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — Every product card in The Vault has a Quick add button: pick a shelf and the product is on your profile, with no form — its catalogue photo and description come with it. The same button moves it to another shelf, puts it in one of your collections, or takes it off again. A Vault pick links to the shop’s own page, with no affiliate link; to earn a commission on a product, add it yourself with your own affiliate link.
- Paid collections (Pro; Optional — off means not rendered) — Put a one-time price on a collection of your picks. Buyers pay through Stripe hosted checkout with a 0% platform fee; the payment lands in MyBase’s own Stripe account tagged with your creator id and is passed on to you, since MyBase has no Stripe Connect.
- Media kit and rate card (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — A brand-facing page at mybase.page/kit/yourname with your audience per platform (labelled as self-reported), your verified on-MyBase counts, a rate card in your currency and past collaborations. It stays private until you publish it and is kept out of search.
- Brand approaches (Free; Part of every page) — A company with a brand account can send you a collaboration request. You see it in your Studio, and saying yes shares only an email address. No money moves through MyBase.
- Plan limits you can see (Free; Part of every page) — Free: 512 MB of storage, 40 media files (up to 5 video clips), 300 products, 30 links and 25 collections. Pro: 5 GB, 250 media files (up to 50 video clips), 1,500 saved products with your newest 250 shown on your profile, 150 links and 250 collections. Your Studio shows a live usage card with the tightest limit first.
Audience and analytics
Analytics are on the free plan: profile views, product clicks, likes, shares and a conversion rate, a views-and-clicks chart, a traffic mix by platform and per-product stats. Your subscriber list exports as CSV, a copy of your account data exports as one JSON file, and you can delete your account.
- Profile analytics (Free; Part of every page) — Product views, product clicks, likes, shares and a clicks-per-hundred-views conversion rate, with a chart over the last 7 days, 30 days or all time.
- Views, clicks and traffic mix (Free; Part of every page) — A chart of profile views and clicks over time, a traffic-mix ring showing where visitors came from (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, Google, MyBase, direct or another site) and your recent money events.
- Plan screen (Free; Part of every page) — The plan you are on, its status and billing cycle, what Pro includes, and a Manage membership button that asks Stripe directly and says plainly if there is no billing account on file.
- Per-product stats (Free; Part of every page) — Each product has its own page with its click count, its tracked affiliate link and its details.
- Consent-gated view counting (Free; Part of every page) — One view per visitor per day is recorded, only after cookie consent, never for you on your own page, with the referrer and device type.
- Affiliate earnings analytics (Free; Part of every page) — Your affiliate click figures per product, served by a signed-in function that refuses to show a zero it did not actually read.
- Subscriber list with CSV export (Free; Part of every page) — The Studio lists every address your page collected and exports the list as a CSV. The list is yours.
- Download my data (Free; Part of every page) — Account settings builds one JSON file of your account data, in your browser, from about two dozen tables. It does not include everything MyBase holds — your messages, for example.
- Delete account (Free; Part of every page) — Real deletion: your account is deleted and your subscription cancelled. Some records are kept afterwards, as the Privacy Policy explains.
- Profile QR code (Free; Part of every page) — A QR code for the same profile URL the share button copies, downloadable as PNG or SVG.
- Share button (Free; Part of every page) — Copy the link, or share it to social networks or email, from your view or a visitor’s.
- Follow and follower counts (Free; Part of every page) — Visitors follow you from your page; follower and following counts come from the database.
- Messaging between creators (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — A Message button on verified creators' pages opens a private conversation. Any creator can message another creator, and blocks and suspensions stop it.
- Notifications (Free; Part of every page) — In-app notifications for follows, likes and comments, with mark read, delete and clear all.
- Milestone badges on your page (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — Earned milestone badges can be shown on your page, or kept off it.
Trust and safety
Every uploaded image is checked by a moderation bot and every video by a person. Visitors can report a profile, product, link, note, image, video, collection or message. Verification is granted by hand, never bought, and a brand account is reviewed by a person before it goes live.
- Privacy settings (Free; Optional — off means not rendered) — A private profile: when it is on, only you can see your Vault (your products, wardrobe and saved items). Your page and links stay public.
- Content reporting (Free; Part of every page) — Anyone can report a profile, product, link, note, image, video, collection or message under nine reasons. Reports are rate-limited and reach the founder.
- Image moderation and manual video review (Free; Part of every page) — Every uploaded avatar, product image, link icon, link background, wardrobe photo and page background is scored by a moderation function. Videos wait for a person to approve them.
- A verified badge, granted by hand (Free; Part of every page) — Verification is set by the founder after looking at a page. There is no threshold that grants it automatically and no plan that sells it.
- Brand accounts, reviewed by a person (Free; Part of every page) — A company applies, a person reviews it, and a one-time code unlocks an official page at mybase.page/brands/its-name plus a dashboard with a creator shortlist, approaches and a creator directory. Free.
- Affiliate disclosure on every shelf (Free; Part of every page) — Visitors are told that a product may carry your affiliate link, in every collection header style, with a full disclosure page behind it.
- Sign in with a username or an email (Free; Part of every page) — Sign in with your username or your email and password, or with one of two sign-in providers.
- Your handle, and changing it (Free; Part of every page) — A handle is 3 to 30 characters of letters, digits, dots and underscores (no leading, trailing or doubled dot). It can be changed, the old one is remembered, and reserved names cannot be claimed.
- Setup in four steps, two of them skippable (Free; Part of every page) — Import (skippable), Basics (your display name and handle — the only two required answers), Socials (skippable) and Base (Card or Clean). Each Continue saves, and the page is live at your handle when you finish. Today you reserve your name on the waitlist first.
The Vault and discovery
The Vault is a curated catalogue in five tiers with 100 Advanced Reviews that creators add products from. Discovery pages let a visitor find a creator by browsing, and 20 sample Creator Profiles at mybase.page/preview let anyone try the real editor before reserving a name.
- The Vault (Free; Part of every page) — A curated catalogue organised into five tiers — Pinnacle, Excellence, Innovation, Quality and Essential — with 100 Advanced Reviews, a page per tier, product detail, compare and filter pages. Creators add products from it in one tap.
- Discovery pages (Free; Part of every page) — Discover (creator and product search with follow), Explore, For you, Featured creators, the Brands directory, and a signed-in activity feed.
- A creator ladder and the Featured wall (Free; Part of every page) — Bronze (0 to 99), Silver (100 to 499), Gold (500 to 1,999) and Platinum (2,000 or more) tracked clicks set a badge, and Gold and Platinum creators appear on the Featured creators page. A tier is a perk, never a commission.
- 20 sample Creator Profiles you can edit (Free; Part of every page) — Twenty invented sample pages at mybase.page/preview, rendered with the real page and the real Appearance editor, so anyone can try every control. Nothing saves.
- A public roadmap with voting (Free; Part of every page) — A roadmap page where signed-in users vote on what gets built next.
- The blog (Free; Part of every page) — Practical creator guides and notes from the build, served as real documents.
The app
The website installs as an app on a phone today. A native MyBase app for iPhone and Android is being built beside it and is not yet in the stores; what it can already do is listed here so nobody has to guess.
- Install the website as an app (Free; Part of every page) — MyBase ships a web app manifest with icons and a standalone display mode, so it can be added to a phone’s home screen. There is no offline mode.
- The MyBase phone app (in development) (Free; Part of every page) — A native app for iPhone and Android is being built alongside the website and is not yet released. It already renders Creator Profiles with links, product shelves, blocks, countdown, booking, GitHub, videos, collections, downloads and email capture (not yet the wardrobe), and a Creator Studio with the appearance deck, media kit, earnings, add product, QR code and share; product editing, analytics, custom links, subscribers and notifications still open the website.
39 platforms, by what MyBase does with each
Counted honestly: a platform is listed once, under the richest thing MyBase does with it. Every embed is a facade that loads nothing until a visitor taps it.
- Plays on the page (7): YouTube (video, with a lightbox), Vimeo (video), TikTok (portrait video by its full link), Spotify (tracks, albums, playlists, artists, shows and episodes), SoundCloud (tracks and sets), X (a single post as a card), Pinterest (a pin as a card)
- Live feed (2): Instagram (a profile becomes an auto-updating grid; single posts are not embeddable), GitHub (a contribution graph through MyBase’s proxy)
- Booking (2): Calendly, Cal.com
- Branded card and social icon (22): Facebook, Snapchat, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Threads, Apple Music (a card and icon; Apple Music links do not play on the page), Twitch, Discord, Telegram, Messenger, Reddit, Tumblr, Bluesky, Medium, Substack, Patreon, Behance, Dribbble, WeChat, LINE, Gmail, Foursquare
- Any other website (1): Any other website (a card wearing the site’s own icon)
- Traffic attribution (1): Google (counted in your traffic mix)
- Payments and tips (4): Ko-fi (a tip-button destination (Pro)), Buy Me a Coffee (a tip-button destination (Pro)), PayPal.me (a tip-button destination (Pro)), Stripe (Pro checkout, paid downloads and paid collections; also a tip-button destination)
What Pro adds
Appearance and convenience, never a better rate. Pro is $9.99 a month or $95.88 a year, and the 0% commission and 0% platform fees do not change.
- Custom link styling — Per-link button backgrounds: 16 presets (solids, gradients and CSS patterns) or any solid colour, any gradient, or your own image, with the text colour derived so the label stays legible. Uploaded images are checked by the moderation bot.
- Tip button — A Send a tip link in the links rail, with a label of up to 24 characters, pointing at your own Ko-fi, Buy Me a Coffee, PayPal.me or Stripe payment link. It is off until you switch it on, and the tip goes to the destination you chose.
- Custom links — Your own mybase.page/s/your-slug address (3 to 32 characters) that forwards to any page on MyBase — your Creator Profile, a collection, a product — each with its own click count. It points only at pages on MyBase, never at an outside website. The target is checked when you create the link and re-checked every time the panel opens, so a link whose destination was renamed or deleted is flagged instead of silently failing.
- 282 font pairings — 42 curated display-and-body pairings plus 240 self-hosted font families, searchable with category chips (Serif, Sans Serif, Display, Handwriting, Monospace). The house Maison pairing is free; every other pairing is Pro.
- Image backgrounds: a 147-image gallery or your own — A gallery of 147 background images in ten themed drops, or your own uploaded image, with a dimming scrim and a blur control.
- Eight animated backgrounds — Liquid-gradient presets, from Aurum to Sunset Silk, that move slowly behind the page under the same dimming scrim.
- Video page backdrop and cover video — Upload a looping mp4, webm or mov of up to 12 MB as the page backdrop or the cover banner. It plays muted, pauses off screen, shows a still under reduced-motion or data-saver settings, and is reviewed by a person before visitors see it.
- Verification badge colour — A verified creator can recolour their badge — gold, or any colour. The control only appears for creators MyBase has verified by hand, so buying Pro never buys a badge.
- An unbranded page — Remove the MyBase bar — the only MyBase mark on your page — from the public view of your Creator Profile.
- Hide the Shop and Join buttons — While MyBase is invite-only, visitors who are not signed in see a Shop this profile button and a Join the waitlist button at the top of your page. Switch either one off.
- Paid collections — Put a one-time price on a collection of your picks. Buyers pay through Stripe hosted checkout with a 0% platform fee; the payment lands in MyBase’s own Stripe account tagged with your creator id and is passed on to you, since MyBase has no Stripe Connect.
The questions people ask before they reserve a name
What can a MyBase page do?
A MyBase page — a Creator Profile at mybase.page/yourname — holds your links and, if you switch them on, product shelves with your own affiliate links, playable videos and music from eight platforms, a live Instagram grid, a booking button for Calendly or Cal.com, native email capture, digital downloads, collections, a wardrobe, a wishlist, a countdown, a GitHub contribution graph and text notes, laid out on a free grid you drag into any order. Analytics, a QR code, a share button, a media kit and a subscriber list with CSV export come with it, and MyBase takes 0% commission and 0% platform fees.
Can I just have a page of links?
Yes, and it is a first-class use of MyBase, not a stripped-down one. A page with only links renders only the links: every other section is off, and a section that is off is not rendered, so there are no empty shelves, boxes or placeholders to hide. The Spotlight links-rail style makes the links the whole page — full-width buttons, one per row.
Is MyBase hard to set up?
No. Setup is four steps and two of them have a Skip button; the only required answers are your display name and the handle you want. No payment details are asked for on the free plan. After that, every change is one gesture: paste a link to add it, drag a section to move it, press a colour to recolour the page. Today you reserve your name on the waitlist first and finish the page once your invite lands.
Does MyBase take a cut?
No. MyBase takes 0% commission and 0% platform fees on every plan, always. Affiliate money moves between the buyer, the retailer and your own affiliate account without passing through MyBase. Paid downloads and paid collections are charged through Stripe hosted checkout with no platform fee — only standard card-processing fees apply — and are passed on to you. Pro changes how your page looks, never what you earn.
How many platforms does MyBase integrate?
Thirty-nine. Eight play on the page — YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, Spotify, SoundCloud, X, Pinterest and an Instagram profile grid; two are booking providers, Calendly and Cal.com; GitHub draws a contribution graph; 31 platforms get a branded card and social icon; any other website gets a card with its own icon; Google is counted in your traffic mix; and Ko-fi, Buy Me a Coffee, PayPal.me and Stripe are tip-button destinations, with Stripe also running Pro checkout, paid downloads and paid collections.
Can I turn things off?
Everything. Each of the 15 sections is a switch in Arrange sections, and a section that is off is not rendered at all. Six sections — countdown, booking, GitHub, videos, collections and downloads — also render nothing until they hold content, and email capture and downloads ship off until you switch them on. The section tab bar, the MyBase bar and the Shop and Join buttons (on Pro), your milestone badges and the tip button are switches too.
What does Pro add?
Appearance and convenience, never a better rate: 281 more font pairings, a 147-image background gallery or your own image, eight animated backgrounds and video backdrops, custom link styling, custom links on mybase.page, an unbranded page, the option to hide the Shop and Join buttons while MyBase is invite-only, a tip button, paid collections, badge colour for verified creators and the Pro badge. Pro is $9.99 a month or $95.88 a year ($7.99 a month), and the 0% commission and 0% platform fees do not change.
Is there a MyBase app?
The website installs to a phone’s home screen as an app today. A native app for iPhone and Android is being built alongside the website and is not yet released; it already renders Creator Profiles and most of the Creator Studio, and the rest still opens the website.
